If you try to use this system to settle personal vendettas, or come to us with no evidence whatsoever, we'll simply laugh at you. If you try to get others banned with doctored evidence, fake witnesses, witnesses-for-hire, or try to hide the overall truth from us to get someone banned who may not have deserved one, you will be on the receiving end of the very justice you are trying to obtain.
To file a report, you're going to need a few things...
A Steam ID and/or Steam Profile of the person you want to see banned - use this site to help.
Screenshots or Videos as evidence - You should use the Steam Community to upload screenshots.
Console Logs - Until our logging system is up and running, we cannot verify the legitimacy of sent messages unless you have reliable witnesses.
Right, down to business:
Step 1: Create a Thread in this forum. Use the Title format as follows:
STEAM_0:1:7099 - garry
If you do not use this title format, we will mark your report as invalid and make you do it again. This is because we...
1: Don't want to have to correct your mistakes, and...
2: Have to give you some hoops to jump through to prove you are an upstanding member of society with a genuine ban to request.
Step 2: Fill-in the message body with the following details:

Your Name: Joe Bloggs
Reason for Report: Prop-Pushing, Racism
Witnesses: Rabscuttle, Robin

We will accept:
Steam Community Screenshots
Imgur Screenshots
Solidfiles Uploads
Mediafire Uploads
Dropbox Uploads
Console Output (Direct or via Pastebin)
YouTube Videos
We will not accept:
Imageshack (Their bandwidth sucks)
Photobucket (Their images have limited views)
Anything that takes more than a few clicks to access or tries to monetise your content.

As you can see in my imaginary list of screenshots, garry is prop-pushing other players and when asked to stop, called them the n-word and said some stuff. As this is just a sample report, I can say as much or as little as I like here.

...and then submit. Once you've submitted your report, you will have 15 minutes to correct any formatting errors. After this time, your messages may only be edited by a moderator. You may reply to your report at any time as and when needed.
If you can't find the Steam ID of a player: Fill each Steam ID field with STEAM_UNKNOWN - if the identity of the offending player is later discovered, it may be added by a moderator.
If you don't follow this guide or otherwise make no effort to keep your report sensible, it will be tossed in the trash. If you keep wasting our time, you will eventually find yourself unable to file reports. We're strong believers in the honour system. Be an arse to us and we'll be professional arses in return.
